  • Year 9 students recently enjoyed a full day of interactive workshops led by Prison! Me! No-way! – a nationally registered charity whose aim is to raise awareness among young people about the causes, consequences and impacts of crime.
  • A group of seven Year 7 and 8 students recently took part in a sporting event held at Headlands School in Bridlington.
  • Honesty, respect and accountability were the key themes of a motivational speech enjoyed by a group of Year 9 students recently when retired rugby league player Ben Cockayne paid them a visit to discuss his life and sporting career.
  • The new year has brought with it a renewed appeal for volunteers to help inspire the continuing growth of literacy and the further development of a whole school reading culture at Withernsea High School.
  • A festive production that put a unique spin on a Christmas classic proved to be a resounding success for the members of Withernsea High School’s Creative Arts community who ended the Autumn term by staging a dance show with a difference.
