Withernsea High School’s Year 8 football team were unlucky to be on the wrong end of the result after putting in a great display against Sir John Nelthorpe school in the Humberside Small School’s Cup Final. Cup final success for Withernsea High’s U14 Girls’ Football Team. On Monday, 17th June, Withernsea High School’s U14 (Year 8 and 9) Girls’ Football team travelled to Hull’s St Mary’s College to represent the school in the U14 Humberside Small Schools Cup. Congratulations to Withernsea High School’s U14 Girls’ Football team for a fantastic semi-final victory over Cottingham High School on Thursday 11th April. Key Stage 3 Boys’ Basketball Success On Tuesday 20th February, the Key Stage 3 Boys’ Basketball team travelled to Beverley Grammar for an East Riding round-robin tournament - playing games against Beverley Grammar, Hornsea High, Headlands School, and Driffield School. Humberside Cross Country Championship A huge well done to Caitlyn Walker and Jack Doyle who recently qualified for the Humberside Championship finals.
