  Congratulations to the Year 8 football team who secured a 3-1 win against Archbishop Sentamu Academy on Monday, 20th January.

  Congratulations to the Year 9 football team who secured a 6-2 win against Beverley Grammar School on Wednesday, 15th January.
• Year 7 Football: Withernsea 4 – New Waltham Academy 5  
  Last Friday, 8th November, Withernsea High School’s Year 7 football team took on New Waltham Academy in an entertaining game which went to penalties.
• Running club members take on Parkrun
  Members of Withernsea High School’s weekly running club were among over 100 participants in last weekend’s Withernsea Promenade Parkrun.
• Year 8 Football: Sir John Nelthorpe (Brigg) 3 - Withernsea 2
  Withernsea High School’s Year 8 football team were unlucky to be on the wrong end of the result after putting in a great display against Sir John Nelthorpe school in the Humberside Small School’s Cup Final.
• Cup final success for Withernsea High’s U14 Girls’ Football Team.  
  On Monday, 17th June, Withernsea High School’s U14 (Year 8 and 9) Girls’ Football team travelled to Hull’s St Mary’s College to represent the school in the U14 Humberside Small Schools Cup.

• U14 Girls’ Football: Cottingham High 3 – Withernsea High 5
  Congratulations to Withernsea High School’s U14 Girls’ Football team for a fantastic semi-final victory over Cottingham High School on Thursday 11th April.
• Key Stage 3 Boys’ Basketball Success
  On Tuesday 20th February, the Key Stage 3 Boys’ Basketball team travelled to Beverley Grammar for an East Riding round-robin tournament - playing games against Beverley Grammar, Hornsea High, Headlands School, and Driffield School.  
• Humberside Cross Country Championship
  A huge well done to Caitlyn Walker and Jack Doyle who recently qualified for the Humberside Championship finals.
