Young engineers shine during workplace visit Engineering students have been given an opportunity to apply their classroom learning in a practical setting during a workplace visit to one of the UK's leading providers of commercial and specialist vehicle services. Careers Evening and Futures Fair Following the success of last year’s debut event, we are delighted that a second community Careers Evening and Futures Fair will take place at the school on Thursday, 13th February, between 4.30 and 7.30pm. Business leaders unite to inspire young entrepreneurs Business leaders from across Hull and East Yorkshire are continuing to volunteer their time as part of a collective effort to help inspire young people to think about self-employment as a career option. Careers programme helps to unlock future study and employment opportunities To help them navigate the selection processes that will unlock future study and employment opportunities, students have benefitted from a series of activities designed to develop the skills and techniques required to thrive in an interview situation. Students enjoy hands-on activities at Humber STEM event A group of fifty year 9 students recently attended this year’s Humber STEM event where they took part in a range of hands-on activities that helped them to develop their problem-solving, teamwork and leadership skills.
