  • A collaboration between Withernsea High School's modern foreign languages and creative arts departments resulted in a memorable trip to Paris for fifty Key Stage 4 students.
  • Withernsea’s PACE (Physical Activity and Community Engagement) network has organised a programme of events for the May half-term break to promote local clubs, organisations, and activities in and around the town.
  • Creativity within the DT department shows no sign of slowing down as students continue to impress in lessons.
  • A busy couple of weeks for the school’s Sport faculty has seen a number of fixtures and events take place, both on and off site.
  • Today, Thursday, 15th May, the Mental Health Foundation encouraged people to ‘wear it green’ to show their support and raise funds for mental health research and support programmes.
  • This week is Mental Health Awareness Week – a national event that aims to help people understand and prioritise their mental health. 
  • Last Thursday, 8th May, staff and students at Withernsea High School joined the rest of the country in commemorating the 80th anniversary of VE Day.
  • We are excited to announce a brand-new Parent, Teacher and Friends Association (PTFA) at our school.
  • As part of a continuing programme of incentives and rewards, students who achieved 100% attendance in the final two weeks before the Easter holidays were entered into a prize draw.
