Sports Day 2024

22 July 2024 (by admin)

Despite some decidedly dodgy weather earlier in the week, the school’s annual Sports Day took place last Thursday, 18th July, against the backdrop of blue skies, sunshine and summer warmth.

As always, the PE department, currently led by Acting Head of PE, Mr Mountain, delivered a comprehensive programme of fun sporting events and activities. These included a dance workshop, football, table tennis, a fun run, tug ‘o war, indoor multi-sports, and athletics

Refreshments were provided throughout the day courtesy of an ice cream van and a tuck shop, run by Miss Makey and Mr Little, to help raise funds for next year’s Year 11 Prom.

The event was a resounding success and a perfect whole-school activity to finish the year on.

Well done to the 2024 Sports Day winners: 7HFO, 8EJ, 9WSC and 10PR.
