We are seeking to appoint a dynamic and inspirational teacher to join our very successful and friendly DT team who are dedicated to raising achievement and providing students with an excellent teaching and learning experience.

Applicants should possess an enthusiasm for and have experience in the areas of Food Technology. The post will include a full range of classes from all years 7-11. The department delivers DT lessons on a rota to all students in Years 7 and 8 and the successful candidate would be expected to deliver some aspect of this. From year 9 we offer a Level 2 Food Qualification and this is a very popular option, generally having two groups following the course each year.  

Withernsea High School is an 11-18 state maintained school, located in a pleasant rural area just 40 minute drive from Hull.  The school has just moved into a £13.5 million pound new building with exceptional state of the art learning facilities.

We would accept applications from those with the relevant qualifications and experience of working in the food industry who may be employed as an instructor
