Position: Admin Support Assistant (with First Aid)

Hours: 30.42. Term Time Only. 8.45am-3.20pm with a 30 minute lunch break.

Duration: Temporary until 31/12/2018

Salary: Point 9 pro rata

Closing date: Wednesday 2nd May

Description:

Working in the school office under the direction of the Office Manager, you will provide administrative and clerical support within the Office and to teaching and non-teaching staff. You will offer an efficient response to all visitors to the school and deal with internal and external telephone queries, and undertake reception duties dealing with students, staff and visitors, in a courteous manner.

Good numeracy, literacy and ICT skills are essential, and office experience including knowledge of IT packages such as Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook is required.

This role will have a key responsibility for the administration and delivery of first aid, which is managed within the front office. This will include providing a basic level of medical care to pupils including notifying parents where necessary, and administering first aid duties and medication. You will be required to keep up to date records on first aid treatments and to ensure that medical data and medication is kept up to date and accurate.

Our school is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and vulnerable adults. Appointment is subject to an Enhanced DBS check.
