Year 8 and 9 immunisations catch up

A reminder that catch up sessions for missed immunisations take place next Wednesday, 30th June.

Reminders have been sent home to the parents/carers of students involved.

Students receive a masterclass in entrepreneurship from award-winning Hull company

On Monday 21st June, a group of students at Withernsea High School benefited from the knowledge and experience of some of the region’s most successful business leaders during a masterclass in entrepreneurship.

Public Consultation – Proposal for change of defined age range at Withernsea High School

Notice is given in accordance with the School Organisation (Prescribed Alterations to Maintained Schools (England) Regulations 2013 that East Riding of Yorkshire Council intends to make a prescribed alteration to Withernsea High School, Hull Road, Withernsea, HU19 2EQ.

It is proposed that the age range of the school is reduced from 11 – 18 years to 11 – 16 years on 1 September 2021. The aim of the proposal is to enable the school to remove the Post-16 education provision.

Any person may object to or make comments on the proposal.

Face Coverings and LFD Testing

A reminder that students are expected to bring their own suitable face covering with them to school on a daily basis.

As per the information sent to parents on Friday 14th May, students must continue to wear an appropriate face covering when moving around the school. However, students are no longer required to wear them in classrooms.
