Parent Questionnaire - Remote Learning

We would like to gather parent/carer views on our Remote Learning offer and would appreciate it if you could complete a short survey to help us refine our provision.

If your responses are different for different children, please feel free to complete a separate form for each of them.

Please add any additional comments at the end. Thank you.

Parent Governors – an opportunity to make a difference

Within our governing body we currently have two vacancies for Parent Governors. The Headteacher and Chair of Governors are seeking two energetic and committed parents or carers to join us in guiding the school
through this next exciting phase.

Many people are often put off the idea of becoming a governor before finding out about what it entails. Certain experience and skills are always welcome, but more than this we would love to hear from people who:

• Are driven by a desire to make a change to the lives of children and young people

• Are prepared to work as part of a team

• Are prepared to learn as they gain experience

• Can approach issues objectively

The other issue that puts people off becoming a governor is the time commitment. It is our intention to keep most meetings online, so you would be able to contribute from home. We will also ensure that any new governor
is partnered with an existing governor to help get over the problem of not thinking you know enough about ‘how things work’.

If you would like to find out more about joining us as we seek to move forward, then please contact Mr Crofts at headteacher@wscampus.net to arrange an informal chat.
