Year 10 Theatre Trip Information

On Tuesday 24th September, Year 10 students will visit Hull New Theatre to watch Stephen Daldry’s multi award-winning production of An Inspector Calls.

The trip will depart school at 6.30pm. Return drop-off points, plus further information about the trip, can be found below.

Students have been advised that they do not have to wear school uniform but we would like to see a smart and appropriate appearance from them all.

We have also advised them not to take any food and drink to the theatre as the venue operates a strict bag search and confiscation policy for items not purchased at the venue. Therefore, you may wish to provide your child with a small amount of money to buy snacks and drinks before the performance begins.

If your child requires medication, please ensure that they have this with them and that staff are made aware of this.

Drop-off points for the return journey have been arranged as follows:

Thorngumbald Co-Op
Burstwick Bridge Bungalows
Keyingham The Ship Inn
Ottringham Zara's
Patrington Fire Station
Hollym Crossroads
Withernsea Library
Withernsea High School

It is anticipated that the trip will leave the theatre no later than 9.30pm, therefore it will be late and dark when they return. Please ensure your child has made arrangements to get home safely.

If you have any questions, please don't hesitate to contact Mrs L Aldridge (English Progress Leader) at or by phone via the switchboard on 01964 613133.
