School Kitchen - 31st January 2019

Due to a technical fault affecting the gas supply to our kitchen, we are unfortunately unable to serve our planned menu of hot food today. However, an alternative menu will be in operation to ensure all students are catered for.

In light of the cold weather, we would like to reassure parents/carers that our heating systems remain fully operational at this time and that no other areas of the school are affected.

We apologise for any inconvenience caused.

Withernsea High School’s 2018-19 careers programme has been in full swing since September, with a number of successful events and activities having already taken place throughout the Autumn Term. These included a masterclass in entrepreneurship for Year 8 and 9 students, a visit to an Apprenticeships Pathways event at Bishop Burton College for Year 11 students and a business networking experience at the Hallmark Hotel which was enjoyed by members of our Sixth Form.

With many students across the school approaching a pivotal moment in their education, the momentum of careers information, advice and guidance continues to build throughout the Spring Term.
