Sixth Form students help raise money for charity

Inspired by what they had heard during the recent visit of a guest speaker from the Teenage Cancer Trust, two Sixth Form students took it upon themselves to organise a bake sale to help raise much-needed funds for the charity. 

Students Lucy Rylott (Year 12) and Ellie Holme (Year 13) ran the sale which took place in the student foyer during break time this Wednesday, 25th October - managing to raise an impressive £50 in just 15 minutes.

Around seven young people, aged between 13 and 24, are diagnosed with cancer every day in the UK. The Teenage Cancer Trust aims to help raise vital funds in order to deliver expert treatment and support to patients from the moment they are diagnosed.

The money raised by our students will go straight to the charity to help them deliver this crucial care and support.
