Book Bingo

A number of students in years 7, 8 and 9 recently took part in a 'Book Bingo' Library competition.

The aim was to finish nine books from nine different genres, as identified on a game card, before passing an Accelerated Reader quiz for each one.

The competition ran from Monday 15th January until Friday 9th March, with the students being allowed to choose their own titles under the genre headings.

Head of Library Services Julie Thompson commented: 'It was wonderful to see the students having fun reading, quizzing and rising to the challenge of the Library competition. Congratulations to the winners and a big thank you to everyone who took part.'
