Year 11

Friday 15th June will see the vast majority of our Year 11 cohort sit their final exam.

This will be Physics (Paper 2), which begins at 9am prompt and has a duration of 1 hour 15 minutes.

After this, the students who have finished all other exams and coursework will have completed their compulsory time at High School.

Students who have Food or Engineering coursework still outstanding will be required to remain on site to complete this in a supervised booster session led by the DT staff in rooms G12 and G14.

A number of exams still remain on the timetable for students studying Polish, Product Design and CIFE. The students involved will be aware of the specific details of these already.

From Monday 18th June, access to the school for Year 11 students will be granted only to those who are attending for the purpose of sitting exams or participating in intervention sessions.

These students should ensure they enter the building through the main visitor's reception and sign in as they do so.

Finally, can I take this opportunity to thank you all for the support you have given our students during the exam period.

I wish students, parents and carers a relaxing break and we look forward to seeing you on GCSE Results Day - Thursday 23rd August.

Kind regards

Mrs R Pinder
(Acting Deputy Headteacher)
