Grand petit déjeuner français

On Monday 16th July, year 7 students at Withernsea High School were given a taste of France when they were treated to a traditional French breakfast in celebration of their continuing outstanding work in Modern Foreign Languages (MFL).

Team Withernsea smashes charity fundraising target

Staff at Withernsea High School are celebrating after smashing a £1000 fundraising target to raise over £1200 for cancer charities.

Reading Makes Points

Throughout the summer term, a number of students took part in a Library competition which aimed to further encourage independent reading among young people.

Maths not a challenge for Withernsea High School students

Back in April, 30 students in Years 7 and 8 took part in the Junior Mathematical Challenge set by the UK Mathematics Trust – a registered charity whose aim is to advance the education of children and young people in mathematics.

Student access 9th – 20th July 2018

Due to planned remedial work starting now and running across the summer, student access to the school will be as follows:

Morning arrival and afternoon exit via the doors by Reception or Sports Hall entrance.

Year 10 lunchtime exit via doors by Reception.

Students have been informed of any changes to emergency evacuation routes during this period.
