Sixth Form students hit the airwaves of East Yorkshire...

On Tuesday 20th February, KCFM presenters Matt Hutchinson and Dale Dixon visited Withernsea High School as part of the station's 'Right Up Your Street' feature.

The light-hearted feature, a favourite fixture of the station's breakfast show, sees the presenters travelling around East Yorkshire to ask members of the community some "(not so) probing questions!".

On Matt's last visit to the school in 2013, a group of students were quizzed on their thoughts about Reality TV and the X-Factor. This time around, members of the Sixth Form were asked which celebrities they think people should follow on social media; whether they had ever been liked or tweeted by a celebrity and which member of Ant and Dec they prefer.

Having recently sat a number of mock exams in preparation for their A-Levels in summer, these questions definitely provided a bit of light relief!

The students' content was broadcast during the breakfast shows on Thursday 22nd and Friday 23rd February. If you missed the broadcasts, you can hear what Sixth Formers Jade Wharam, Tom Lyon and Lily Monaghan had to say by listening to their responses on the KCFM website:

While at the school, fellow host Dale Dixon also took the opportunity to take a couple of requests from the students as well as asking them to read out clues to a quiz question about a Withernsea landmark.
