Withernsea High School students celebrate GCSE results

Withernsea High School’s Sixth Form centre was a hive of activity this morning as the school’s Year 11 cohort arrived to collect their long-awaited GCSE results.

Success for Withernsea High School students as results open doors to bright futures

Students of Withernsea High School, joined by staff and parents, returned to school today to collect their A-level results.

Anticipation gave way to relief and celebration as students secured places at universities of their choice around the country and on apprenticeships in a variety of professions.

Sixth Form Starter Tasks 2018

Dear Year 12,

Congratulations on your GCSE results and deciding to join the Sixth Form at Withernsea High School.  Please download and complete the following starter tasks for the subjects you have chosen and make sure you have completed them for the first day back at school. Your teachers will expect these tasks to be completed and they will form the first part of your first lesson.

Exam Results Days 2018

A-Level: Thursday 16th August

GCSE: Thursday 23rd August

A-Level and GCSE results will be available for collection from 9.00am in the Holderness Learning Centre (Sixth Form Centre).

Please note: If you are unable to collect your results in person, you can nominate a family member to collect them on your behalf. In order for them to do this they will need a written letter, signed by the candidate, naming the person who will be collecting and granting them permission. The person collecting will need photo identification. Any results which are not collected on the day will be held at the school for future collection.
