Message to parents/carers

As you may be aware, today (Friday 13th April) a number of schools in the county have been targeted by hoax bomb messages.

Withernsea High School has not received such a message.

We can reassure you that we have been advised by the police and local authority that there is no credible threat posed to student safety, and that the police are treating the matter as a hoax.

On this basis, school will continue undisrupted as normal.

Thank you.
