Permission for year 10 and 11 students to leave the school site at lunchtime

As of tomorrow, Wednesday 2nd November, students in years 10 and 11 will only be allowed to leave the school site at lunchtime if they have parental consent to do so. 

If you are happy for your child to leave the school site during the lunchtime period, please reply to the text you will have received this evening giving your consent and accepting full responsibility for them during this time. 

A lunchtime pass will be issued to those students who have parental permission.

If you have not received the text message, you can grant permission via email to . Please remember to include the name and tutor group of the student.

Former WHS staff member recognised by Royalty

In recognition of her work to promote Computer Science, Sue Dearing - a former IT teacher at Withernsea High School - recently attended a reception at St James’s Palace where she was congratulated on her efforts by Prince Andrew.

Year 7 continue to impress

Over the past couple of weeks, year 7 students in Geography and Religious Studies have continued to impress with a stunning array of homework assignments that they have completed during their first half term at Withernsea High School.

NHS trip - ‘A Day in the Life’

Yesterday (19/10/16), 30 students were afforded the opportunity to participate in a NHS careers event at the clinical training centre in Hull.
