The Governors of Withernsea High School require a highly committed and talented Teacher of Design Technology to join our successful Faculty of Art, Design and Technology. If you are motivated by inspiring young people through creative and engaging teaching, then this could be the opportunity you are looking for.

Withernsea High School is a good and improving school serving the town of Withernsea and the surrounding villages. This post offers the opportunity to bring about ever-greater achievements for young people through their study of Design Technology and through the further development of Engineering and Design Technology courses.

• A clear understanding of the Engineering and Design Technology curriculum and the teaching and learning related to those areas of study.

• The ability to inspire students of all abilities to achieve more than they thought possible

• The skills and attributes to teach Design Technology across key stage 3, 4 and into the 6th form at Level 3 for Engineering.

• Proven ability to successfully lead projects

• The ability to identify and implement strategies to raise standards of teaching and learning
