The study of Sport Science at Withernsea High School has gone from strength to strength over the last few years.  With staff that are both experts in their field and highly passionate about the subject now being matched to some of the best facilities in the area it can only get better.  Our students’ academic achievement in Sport has been one of the highest in the school in recent years.

We believe passionately in the value of studying sport and the opportunities it provides for students to learn about different skills and aspects of sport, to explore high levels of understanding of how the sports world works in this country and to develop their own sports skills as performer, coach and referee that they will then be able to take in to the local community.
