Year 8 winners Oliver Larsen and Leah Garbutt both took home silver awards with Leah also winning best in year in best in school.
Teacher of Mathematics Daryl Block commented, "Withernsea High school has a proud tradition of entering students into the UK Maths Challenge. The questions set look for a deep understanding of mathematics and use applications rarely seen in the old GCSE exam paper. This makes for an engaging and very enjoyable challenge which will help the students when they come to sit their GCSE in the future. Congratulations to all the winners."
Year 7 student Tracy Medcalf is presented with her bronze award by Mr Williman.
