Among items on sale will be baby and children's clothing, confectionary, health and beauty products, scented candles, wooden crafts and craft supplies, jewellery, Christmas cakes and general accessories.
Two years ago the event raised over £800 towards the £1600 needed to purchase a defibrillator for the school with last year's money going to Withernsea High’s link school in South Africa, Mapanene Junior Secondary. This year's charity beneficiaries will be local charities (yet to be confirmed)

Julie Hare, event organiser, said: “Our previous Christmas shopping evenings proved to be very popular and we are delighted that they have now become an annual event. We were overwhelmed by our community’s generosity in previous years and I have no doubt that we can again raise a substantial amount which will impact the lives of many in need of support. So forget slogging through to Hull to grab your Christmas presents, there are lots of bargains to be had and the chance to win prizes!. Please come along and support local businesses and charity"

As well as the stalls there will also be a raffle, tombola and Christmas carols performed by the PEP Kids. Students studying Hair and Beauty will also be delivering skincare pamper sessions to weary shoppers and refreshments will be available throughout the event.

Anyone wishing to book a stall should contact Julie Hare on 611530. Stalls cost £5, plus the donation of a prize for the raffle.

** We are still in need of some fabulous raffle / tombola prizes! If you have anything you think would be suitable and you are willing to donate them to event, please contact Julie Hare on the number above. Thank you **
