Engineering is one of the most diverse and satisfying professions. Engineers get results; they make things happen; they generate new solutions to other people's problems and have the job satisfaction of being able to see their work in action - work which ultimately creates a better lifestyle for us all.
We are currently investigating the possibility of holding an open day later this year which will allow ex-students the chance to have a look around the old school buildings for one final time before they are demolished.
We will update our website with news of this as and when we have it. However, if you would like to be notified directly by email when plans are finalised, please send an email with the subject line TOUR OF THE SCHOOL to email@example.com
A reminder that all ex-students of Withernsea High School are invited to sign up to our Alumni. Please see our dedicated Alumni section for more information.
Finally, as some of you may know, this year marks the 60th anniversary of the official opening of the current High School - it having been opened by the Earl of Halifax on 28th April 1955. With this in mind, we are keen to collect as many memories, pictures and stories from the past 60 years as possible. Please email all content to firstname.lastname@example.org When submitting photos, please include as much information as you know (the year the picture was taken, names of people who are featured etc..).
Thank you, and we look forward to hearing from you soon.
Happy New Year to all students and their families.
I look forward to welcoming students back for the start of term tomorrow, Tuesday 6th January, at 8:30am.
To ensure a positive start to the term, I'd be grateful if parents / carers could ensure all students come to school fully equipped for lessons. Please click here to view the details of our expectations for dress code and equipment.
